Addpative virtual joysticks. The joysticks used on this game are virtual and are not visible during normal game play. The center position is set by the first touch of your thumb and direction set by moving from that center point. Direction is continuously variable. Lifting off and touching thumb on the screen again will reset the center point.
Movement. Touch your thumb on any point in the bottom left quadrent to set center point. The Movement joystick controls both direction and speed, with the speed being proportional to the distance moved from the cnter up to a max speed.
Fire. Touch your thumb on any point in the bottom right quadrent to set center point. The Fire joystick initiates firing when you move from the center point in the direction of your movement from the center. Note that you can fire in any direction independent of your ships movement direction.

Wave: 4
Your current wave. To progress through the game you have to complete waves. Each wave is progressively more difficult and introduces new enemies and challenges. All time highest wave reached across all players will be saved.
Your crystal status shows how many regualar crystals you've collected and how many are needed for the next power up, what the next powerup crystal is, and what current powerup crystals you hold.
Access settings and this help screen.
The Enemies
Tracker: Tracks your position and constantly moves towards you. Speed increases the closer they are to you. Low intelligence but easy to get overwelmed by this enemy; especially if you move to close to them.
Saucer Spawn: Released from saucers and moves at random direction and speed. Will hang out in the corners and edges. Fires engery balls towards your ship. Rate of spawning and firing increases as number of enemies left descreases. High intelligence enemy that will flank you on multiple sides to create dangerous crossfire.
Saucer: Each saucer releases an unlimitted number of Saurcer Spawns. Number of saucers increases as waves progress. Not all waves have saucers. Its best to try and eliminate saucers early in a wave to prevent saucer spawns.
Blocking Sphere: Blocks your laser fire and cannot be destroyed by normal firing. Although passive in nature this enemy in easy to run into when avoiding more agressive enimies. Other enimies can take cover behind them and make it difficult to complete the level. Can only be destroyed by Green Crystal, Shield, or Energy Wave (see below).
Energy Sphere: Moves randomly and spawns tracking energy bolts. Only featured on special Engery Sphere waves which are every fifth wave, so 5, 10, 15 etc. These waves have significantly more crystals to collect.
Attack Saucer: Fast randomly moving enemy which fires energy balls towards your ship. Energy balls do not disipate and stay active until destroyed. Only featured on special Attack Saucer waves which are every fifth wave starting from Wave 7, so 7, 12, 17 etc. Later waves may have a number of Attack Saucers to increase difficulty.
Pyrimid: Appear on later waves in groups of four arranged in a square formation. An energy beam connects each pyrimid. The energy beam will destroy your ship if you run into it and can only be disabled by destroying one of the pyrimids which breaks the beam. Pyrimids take multiple shots to destroy and spin faster and glow redder the closer you are to destroying one. On breaking the beam each remianing pyridmid starts firing energy balls at your ship. These are tough enemies, they restrict your movement initally making it much harder to avoid other enemies and breaking the beam will unlease firing from multiple directions. As difficulty increases pyrimids appear in concentric formation.
Crystals: Essential part of the game and it will be impossible to get a high score or get to later waves without collecing crystals. You collect crystals by running you ship into them. The first crystal is worth 1000 points, the 2nd 2000, the 3rd 3000 and so on until a max of 5000 is reached. Each successive crystal is worth 5000. Crystal scoring resets at the start of each wave and if your ship gets destroyed, so on waves with many crystals its important to maximize value by not dying to early. Of course this is where you must balance the risk of being desroyed v's collecting more cystals.
Power Up Crystals: There are three special power up crystals. For every five regular crystals collected you are awarded a power up crystal. They are awarded in order of green, orange, red. Your crystal status shows how many regular crystals you've collected, what the next awarded crystal will be, and what power up crsytals you currently hold. Note that you cannot hold more than one of any type, so if for example the next crystal is red and you already hold a red crystal then strategically you should use the red crystal you hold first before earning another red. Power up crystals will help you get though difficult levels and should be used strategically to survive a level or maximize crystal collecting. At the start of wave or regeneration of your ship the crystals will fall vertically into randomly positions. You should make note of where they are all located as you may need to quickly move to their position.
Green Power Up Crystal: This crystal will destroy all blocking spheres on the wave your on. This may not seem that powerful but, especially on levels with many blocking spheres, you will notice how much easier it is to manouver and destroy enemies when there are no blocking spheres.
Orange Power Up Crystal: This crystal will release an engergy wave enimating from the position of the crystal and will destroy all enemies in its path. This is a very powerful powerup and can clear whole waves in one blast. Strategically this should be used where it is positioned to destroy the most enemies and/or on difficult levels where many enemies need to be destroyed quickly to survive. One thing to watch for is if you have many crystals still available and use the orange power up you may end the wave premeturly by killing all enemies without collecting the avaialble crystals.
Red Power Up Crystal: This crystal will activate a shield around your ship. While the field is activated anything you run into will be instantly destroyed and nothing can destroy your ship. This is a powerful powerup and very effective for collecting crystals on energy sphere levels, and taking out multiple pyrimids on later waves. The shield only lasts a certain time, indicated by the shield visually fading.
